Pray that God Would Guide Me

A Muslim friend of ours has written: Greetings to you. Blessings on you for your courage and your religion. Could you please pray for me so that the Lord may guide me and grant me strength?

Let us pray for this brother of ours:

O Lord, who cares for those who know their own spiritual poverty and know that they are in need of Your strength. O Lord, who desires to guide humans to walk in Your path, the path of love. O Lord, who desires to have deep and intimate relationships with humans, that they may not be your slaves but rather your children, and you their heavenly Father.

O merciful Father, who demonstrated Your love through Jesus Christ, I pray for this brother; I pray that you would touch his heart, bless him with your knowledge so that he may recognize You, experience Your love, and walk in Your ways. Let our friend, who seeks Your guidance and power, become empowered by a power higher than human power, become wise beyond human understanding.

I pray for Your divine guidance, Your divine wisdom, Your divine love, Your divine power, O Lord, who is omnipotent, in the life of my brother. Let him experience You, know You, and thereafter live a life worthy of Your holy and sacred name. O Lord! Bless this brother of ours.
