Was God's Word Altered?

Was God's Word Altered?

Many Afghans believe that the Word of God has been altered over time. This video defends the Divine preservation and trustworthiness of God’s Word.

Transcript:

Maulvi Sahib Mujibur Rahman wrote: “The heavenly books today have all been altered.”

Maulvi Sahib, with all due respect to you, please take a moment to think before making such a statement. You claim that all the heavenly books have been altered. But, Maulvi Sahib, does God not have the zeal to protect His Word? Does God not have the power to preserve His Word?

You, as a Maulvi who teaches and preaches God’s Book to people according to your beliefs, how can you believe or even say that God would allow His Word to be changed? Would God simply sit idly by and let anyone tamper with His Word? How can such an idea even be accepted?

We, as followers of Jesus Christ, have the utmost respect for God’s Word. We believe in God’s power and zeal. We would never claim that a mere weak human could alter the Word of Almighty God. Such a statement is not only wrong but also a great insult to God.

Therefore, instead of saying that God’s Word has been altered, I hope that one day you will read God’s Word for yourself and teach it correctly to our people. The Torah, Psalms, and the Holy Gospel are heavenly books. Jesus Christ says: “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”

God’s Word is eternal because God Himself is eternal. And anyone who insults God’s Word is, in fact, insulting God Himself.

Thank you for your comment. May God guide and bless you.
