Response to a Death Threat

Response to a Death Threat

A heartfelt response to a hateful message, sharing God's blessings amid hardships, urging love for enemies, and praying for true freedom in the Lord.

Transcript:

This friend of ours wrote:
"Which country are you in, you cursed one? Killing you is an obligation."

Response:
Dear friend, since I got to know Jesus Christ, I have seen nothing but blessings from the Lord. There have been problems and hardships, but even in those times, I have felt God's Fatherly hand guiding me. So, it is wrong to called someone blessed by God a “cursed one”.

My prayer for you is to be freed from this curse, from the mindset that makes you believe killing another human, a creation of God, is justified. This belief is not from God; it is from someone whose place is in hell.

I pray you find freedom from this way of thinking, from this hatred, and even from speaking such words. May this hatred disappear, and may you come to know the true God who says: Love even your enemies.

I pray for freedom for you in the Lord. I pray that you break free from these chains and mental shackles that have enslaved you like a mercenary.

Goodbye.
