Thank you for this question, dear sister. As followers of Jesus Christ, we believe that if God is eternal, so is His Word, and therefore, it can never become abrogated. Some teach that God's Word is outdated or altered, but to me, this is a great insult to God, whose Word is sacred and eternal.

The idea that God's Word could become obsolete is nonsensical because God neither makes mistakes that He would need to correct nor lies to replace His some falsehood He has said with a truth. Those who have taught us that God's Word could be abrogated were either mistaken or lied to hide God's Word from us.
